Carl is a viola player based in the North West of England. He plays a Michetschläger viola thanks to generous contributions from Chetham’s Musical Instrument Fund, the EMI Sound Foundation, the Musicians’ Benevolent Fund and Music for Alice. He also received private sponsorship from Paul Minet.  Carl’s chamber music ensembles have included performances with flute and harp; with mezzo-sopranos; in duos with violinists, clarinetists or cellists; as well as in string trios and piano or string quartets. His orchestral experience ranges from Bach cantatas to operas and major symphonies

Please contact Carl if you are interest in having viola, violin and/or piano lessons; or if you require him for a solo, chamber, orchestral or choral society performance or recording.
